Friend brings a diverse background and 25 years of experience in all aspects of transportation engineering and project management. This includes engineering, planning, design, construction oversight, and program management services for state, municipal, toll, and regional mobility authorities. He has more than nine years of alternative delivery experience ranging from multi-billion-dollar design-build projects to locally funded development projects.
In his new role, Friend will lead American Structurepoint’s road design practice throughout Texas and enhance the Texas Department of Transportation and municipal client capabilities and relationships.
