Texas Water Development Board Adds and Promotes Five in Flood Division

AUSTIN, TX — The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) announces the additions and promotions of Saul Nuccitelli, PE, CFM; Mindy Conyers, Ph.D.; Reem Zoun, PE, CFM; Manuel Razo, CFM; and James Bronikowski, PE, CFM.

Nuccitelli joined the TWDB as the Director of the new Flood Science & Community Assistance Division. He has more than 25 years of civil engineering experience in the public and private sectors. Nuccitelli received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil and environmental engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Conyers recently joined the Flood Science & Community Assistance Division. She has worked in the TWDB's Conservation & Innovative Water Technologies and Surface Water divisions for more than seven years. Conyers received a bachelor’s degree in physical geography from the University of North Texas, and a Master of Applied Geography in resource and environmental studies. She earned her doctorate in environmental geography/fluvial geomorphology from Texas State University.

Zoun joined the TWDB as the Director of the new Flood Planning Division. She has 18 years of water resources and civil engineering, leadership, planning and management experience in the public and private sectors. Reem has a Bachelor of Engineering in environmental engineering from RMIT University in Australia and a Master of Science in environmental and water resources engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Razo has been promoted to Manager of the Flood Mapping Program. Razo has worked in floodplain and stormwater management for 14 years in the public and private sectors. Razo received a bachelor’s degree in geography from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in geospatial surveying engineering from Texas A&M - Corpus Christi.

Bronikowski has been promoted to Manager of the new Regional Flood Planning team. Bronikowski joined the TWDB in 2008 as an Engineering Reviewer and most recently served as the Senior Engineer of the East Region Team in Regional Water Project Development. Bronikowski received a bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in water resource engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
