ABC Names Mabile the 2020 Young Professional of the Year
“Brandon has already made significant contributions to the merit shop construction industry on the local and national level,” said 2020 ABC National Chair Tim Keating, Owner and President of R.C. Stevens Construction Co. in Winter Garden, Florida. “His passion for helping ABC members develop people, win work, and deliver that work safety, ethically, and profitably is clear from his past performance and future professional goals, and we’re excited for his continued leadership of ABC on a chapter and national level.”
Mabile currently chairs ABC National’s Free Enterprise Alliance and has been involved in a number of other chapter and national committees. He is also the immediate past Chair of the ABC Greater Houston Chapter. In his role at Performance Contractors and ABC, Mabile promotes technical education opportunities and careers in construction, especially among women and people typically underrepresented in the construction sector.
ABC’s Young Professionals group aims to shape the future of the industry by supporting the growth of professionals under the age of 40 who are employed by ABC member companies. The group is sponsored by Autodesk Construction Cloud, which combines advanced technology, a builders network, and predictive insights to connect people and data across the entire building lifecycle. As Young Professional of the Year, Mabile received a $10,000 cash prize.
The Young Professional of the Year Award is one of numerous ABC award programs that promote lifelong learning and achievement at every level of the construction industry.
