“Since joining Skanska, Matt has demonstrated great leadership, particularly from a commercial and contractual perspective,” said Ryan Aalsma, Executive Vice President and General Manager for Skanska’s San Antonio and Austin construction operations. “Throughout his career, Matt has demonstrated diligence, dedication, and commitment to continuous improvement. McCaffrey holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in construction management from Lawrence Tech University. McCaffrey is a registered Professional Engineer, LEED AP certified, and WELL AP certified. He is also a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, Urban Land Institute, Architecture, Construction, and Engineering mentoring program, and the Institute for Leadership in Capital Projects. At Skanska, McCaffrey is a subject matter expert in the Design Build Council and a member of the Escalation and Supply Chain team.

Sitzman graduated from Purdue University with a degree in building construction management. At Skanska, he is a member of the National Operations Leadership Council and a subject matter expert in the Higher Education Advisory Council, which analyzes market and industry trends. Within the local community, Sitzman is an advocate and fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
