HOUSTON, TX — Sundt Construction, Inc., added water and wastewater industry veteran Bob Mitchell as a Project Executive in its Industrial Group. In his new role, Mitchell will focus on the growth of Sundt’s water, oil and gas, and industrial markets.
“Bob brings a variety of skills and expertise to his new position,” said Shad Bowman, Vice President, Business Development Manager for Sundt’s Industrial Group. “He brings experience from projects in several key industrial markets combined with technical expertise in evaluating processes, technologies, equipment selection, and other parameters to optimize projects for our clients. His technical expertise and leadership are a great addition to Sundt and will provide immediate value to all of our clients in these markets. Additionally, Bob will focus on supporting and growing Sundt’s presence for both municipal water and wastewater and industrial clients in Texas and surrounding areas.”
Before joining Sundt, Mitchell worked for more than 10 years at a global water and wastewater equipment supply company. In his most recent role, Mitchell worked with several design engineers and customers to provide treatment solutions for water and wastewater treatment projects along the Gulf Coast and throughout North America. He brings many years of experience in both project development and technical and process design.

Mitchell previously served as an Application Engineering Manager for large industrial and water and wastewater treatment projects, overseeing the process design and proposal team for all industrial water and wastewater treatment-based projects in North America, primarily to serve the chemical manufacturing, power, and oil and gas markets. Mitchell earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Utah.
