White is a Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute Fellow and currently serves as the Chairman of its Bridge Committee. He is a member of the joint Post-Tensioning Institute/American Segmental Bridge Institute DC-40 Bridge Design Committee and the ASBI Technology and Innovation Committee’s Design Subcommittee. He also advises the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials’ Concrete Committee concerning ongoing development of Section 5 of the “LRFD Bridge Design Specifications.”
Prior to HNTB, White served as a Senior Technical Advisor of Structures for another consulting firm in Houston. He earned a Master of Science in civil engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas and 10 other states.
