Jackson-Shaw Breaks Ground on Centerpoint Phase II Logistics Park in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX — Jackson-Shaw, a national real estate development company headquartered in North Texas, announces the development of the 36-acre CenterPoint Phase II Logistics Park, the final phase of a 64-acre master-planned industrial park in San Antonio.

Jackson-Shaw broke ground on the 302,518-square-foot, three-building CenterPoint Phase I Logistics Park in Q4 2020. That development is 40 percent leased.

Phase II consists of two buildings totaling 416,707 square feet of Class A industrial development. Building 1 is 139,427 square feet, and Building 2 is 277,280 square feet. Each building features industrial space designed to accommodate office, showroom, manufacturing, distribution, assembly, and other industrial uses and includes ESFR fire protection, trailer parking, and car parking. Building 1 is rear-load, and Building 2 is cross-dock.

CenterPoint Logistics Park is located just inside Interstate 410, south of where it intersects with Interstate 35. The park has over 2,200 feet of frontage at the Interstate 40 and Interstate 35 interchange.

“Following an exceptionally strong 2021, tenant demand in the San Antonio industrial market continues to remain robust in 2022,” said Grant Pearson, Vice President of Development at Jackson-Shaw. “The strategic location for this best-in-class development at the Interstate 40 and Interstate 35 interchange is ideal for logistics and e-commerce tenants.”

An affiliate of Greystar Real Estate Partners is the equity partner. R.C. Page Construction is the general contractor for the project, with Beaty Palmer Architects as the project’s architect, Kimley-Horn as the civil engineering firm, and Veritex Community Bank as the lender. Kevin Cosgrove and Walter Simpson of Stream Realty Partners are managing the leasing assignment for the development.
