Meyer Elevated to Vice President of Consulting at Construction Discovery Experts
“We are pleased to announce Kat’s promotion to a Vice President position,” said Brett Lamb, Founder and CEO of CDE. “She has proven herself an invaluable member of our organization, with demonstrated success as a leader and expert in eDiscovery. One of her most admirable and valuable skills is how she strategically translates the findings of our eDiscovery work into compelling evidence in a courtroom — that’s a coveted talent in this industry.”
In her previous role as a Senior Consultant for CDE, Meyer leveraged her legal and technical expertise to consult with clients on proactive approaches to minimize discovery costs. In addition, she provided guidance throughout the discovery process to assist with discovery negotiations and protocols, custodian interviews and collections, and corporate training programs.
Meyer began her legal career in 2004 as a Litigation Attorney at international law firm Jones Day, where she was involved in complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts. She became known as a firm expert in eDiscovery and large-scale document preservation, collection, review, and production. After eight years as a Corporate Litigator, she was recruited to serve as President of Conquest eDiscovery. In addition to managing all operational aspects of the company, Meyer consulted with clients on eDiscovery strategy, discovery plans, discovery orders, information governance, legal holds, collections, and other matters and conducted CLE training to both companies and law firms.
“I look forward to being an integral part of CDE’s leadership team and contributing to our company’s ongoing growth,” Meyer said. “CDE fills a specific niche at the intersection of construction, litigation, and technology, and it’s a space that has not been catered to very well in the past. I’m excited to help bring our expertise to the forefront of all three of these industries."
