Bahrami began his career with TxDOT in 2007 at the West Harris Area Office where he managed several construction projects. He obtained his Professional Engineering License in 2013. In the same year, he became Project Manager for the US 290/I-610 Interchange, a $411-million dollar reconstruction and expansion project. Bahrami also served as the President of the Houston District’s Young Engineers Society in 2012 and 2013.
In 2016, Bahrami received the Texas Association of General Contractors (AGC) Project Award for the US 290 Project Segment at the I-610 Interchange. Also in 2016, Bahrami began managing all 13 projects that comprised the US 290 reconstruction and expansion program, totaling $1.1. billion.
In April 2018, Bahrami was appointed as the Assistant Area Engineer for the West Harris Area Office overseeing construction, maintenance, and design activities. Bahrami graduated from Prairie View A&M University earning a Bachelor of Science in civil and environmental engineering in May of 2011.
