Highway engineering professionals in the San Antonio area now have a local community dedicated to ASHE's mission, creating a network with resources and possibilities for growth. The organization aims to provide a forum for highway industry members and partners to promote a safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation system through education, innovation, and fellowship.
LAN’s Markus D. Neubauer, PE, and Travis Owens, PE, have significantly contributed to the launch of ASHE San Antonio. Neubauer and Owens will both serve on the section board, with Owens serving as the inaugural President.
“Whether you're a seasoned professional or just starting out, ASHE San Antonio offers a platform for professional development, access to exclusive events, workshops, and networking opportunities designed to enhance your skills and knowledge," Owens said. "I feel honored to be a part of this important addition to the world of highway engineering in San Antonio."
LAN has been developing infrastructure solutions for the San Antonio region since 1979 and serves clients such as the TxDOT San Antonio District, the City of San Antonio, San Antonio Water System, and Bexar County.
