HOUSTON, TX — Alston Construction announces Nick Dwyer has joined the team as Director of Business Development. Dwyer will be based out of its Houston, Texas, office. He will lead new business pursuits, foster client relationships and oversee market exposure. Prior to Alston Construction, Dwyer worked for two larger general contractors and a large engineering/program management firm.

Dwyer brings more than 15 years of architect/engineering/construction industry experience, specifically in interiors, educational facilities, commercial office and healthcare markets. A results-driven strategist, Dwyer provides relationship management and strategic guidance to clients.

He builds trust through an ability to listen for desired results and has a passion for professional and personal development to continue to bring value to clients. In addition, he has extensive knowledge of the industry RFQ/P process and is a facilitator for interview prep. He has recently completed all seven units of the Lean Construction Education Program through the Associated General Contractors (AGC).

Dwyer graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in general studies – pre-law. As a CPSM and LEED accredited associate, he has been a part of and on the board and committees for several organizations including the Society for Marketing Professional Services, NAIOP, AGC, Urban Land Institute, ACRP, RDA and CoreNet.
